Whānau e tautoko ana i te whānau – Families helping Families

Helping Hands

Currently, there are families in our community that are experiencing considerable financial pressure and the associated stress that comes with being in this position.

As a college, we are here to support all families to be able to continue their child’s education in whatever ways we can.

We know that we have a very generous Pompallier community that is willing and able to support others in need.  We have set up a Pompallier ‘Whānau e tautoko ana i te whānau’ Donation scheme, whereby we invite families and others to make voluntary contributions to help families in need.

Your contribution will allow us to further support families in our school community.

These contributions are eligible for a tax rebate.

Donations of $5.00 or more can be made in the following ways:

  • Bank Transfer
You can transfer money directly to Pompallier Catholic College through your bank to:
    Account Name:  Pompallier Catholic College
    Account Number:  12-3099-0758068-00
Please include your name and ‘PCC Whānau Donation’ as a reference.  Then contact Jane Woolston via email:  jane.woolston@pompallier.school.nz, with further details of the donation so we can issue you with a receipt.
  • Cash
The easiest way to make a cash donation is to drop it into Reception at the school office.  A receipt will be issued to you.

The Whānau e tautoko ana i te whānau Donation scheme will be professionally managed by Pompallier Catholic College and its accounts externally audited.  Families receiving support will be prioritised by the Principal and the Pastoral Care Team.

If there is something in particular that you wish to support, such as school camp, sport registration costs, workbooks/stationery, uniform, lunches, please indicate this in your email so funds can be utilised as instructed/requested.
